A modern terraced house where architect Thomas Sandell wanted the construction to blend into the scenic environment with classic farmstead buildings. The heart of the area is a quiet bruksgata (mill lane) that creates a safe and pleasant environment where neighbours meet and children can play freely.

In Näs-Focksta you are only a 10-minute drive from central Uppsala, and there are also plenty of public transport options along road 55. The nearest preschool is right next door, and if you prefer a cooperative, there is one a couple of minutes away. It is close to schools with a school bus that drives into the area, and to Stenhagen centre with, among other things, popular grocery shops, a restaurant, pharmacy, postal collection point and clothes shops. The area also has one of Uppsala's best golf courses just outside the entrance to Näs Focksta; the golf course includes a restaurant with an excellent reputation, to which Uppsala residents, among other things, make pilgrimages for the Christmas buffet. Many in the area like to go to Hammarskog for mushroom and berry picking, or visit Ekoln for a refreshing dip in summer or ice skating in winter.
