Growth property with little need for measures

At beautiful Persomajärvi, a smaller forestry property with good growth opportunities is now offered. The property's area consists of approx. 74.5 hectares (ha) of productive forest land according to the forestry plan, as well as 13.3 ha of unproductive land, 1.6 ha of rock and bedrock, and 0.6 ha of homestead land. The forest land is dominated by thinning forests, which make up 74% of the area, but there is also cleaning forest covering 12% of the area, as well as regeneration-felling forest in felling class S1 at 6% or 4.8 ha. The average site productivity is calculated at 3.4 m³sk/ha/year, giving a growth of approx. 276 m³sk per year. The timber stock amounts to approx. 7 230 m³sk, or an average of 97 m³sk/ha. The tree species distribution is pine 59%, spruce 24% and broadleaf 17%. There is the possibility of firewood cutting in several sections with fine birch. The forestry plan proposes thinning of approx. 173 m³sk during the plan period. Otherwise, the property has a minor forest care need according to the plan, in the form of, among other things, cleaning on 2.1 ha. If the proposed measures are carried out according to the forestry plan, the timber stock is calculated to increase to approx. 9 800 m³sk by the end of the plan period of 10 years. The property is located by Lake Persomajärvi in Övertorneå municipality, approx. 19 km from Hedenäset.
