Imagine getting out here, just over an hour from Stockholm door to door, with a boat trip taking as little as 5 minutes. It is unique, and Sundholmen has a very good reputation. Here the archipelago awaits, with the open expanses of the outer archipelago just around the corner.

This lovely island in the Roslagen archipelago is easily reached with your own boat. As soon as you step on board, you leave the stress of everyday life behind, and when you moor at your own boat berth, only approx. 150 metres from the plot, tranquillity sets in. On the way up towards the red cottage, nestled in greenery, you feel how calm takes over.

Welcome to Sundholmen 48, a charming property with a fantastic location close to the water! Here, on a generous natural plot of 2,604 m², awaits idyllic living with both a main cottage and a guest cottage. The plot offers fruit trees, berry bushes and a soft lawn.

The main cottage is timber-built and well cared for, with a black sheet-metal roof and an inviting feel. Inside you are met by quite a lot of pine, which can easily be changed and brightened up, or simply enjoyed just as it is. This is a home with 3 bedrooms, a newly renovated kitchen and a living room where the wood-burning stove becomes the heart of the home on cold autumn evenings. From here you step out onto the terrace to enjoy the clear September air or light candles under the roof at the front, with views down towards the water.

The guest cottage offers extra space for family and friends, always welcome! There is room for both meals and relaxation, as well as a cosy reading armchair for anyone who wants to retreat with a book. Here you will also find a sauna, a shower cubicle and a further guest room with its own entrance. A sauna is just perfect now that the autumn evenings are arriving, when warmth and relaxation beckon.

The surroundings offer peaceful forest walks and beautiful views down towards the sea. Now that autumn is coming, tranquillity creeps in and the plot becomes a secluded oasis once most of the summer guests have left the island.
