The municipality's small-house plots are sold via Erik Olsson Fastighetsförmedling at fixed prices. When new plots are released, anyone may, within a specified period, submit a registration of interest via the agent's website to purchase the plot. If several parties are interested in purchasing the plots, a draw determines the order in which interested parties are approached to purchase the plot. The municipality conducts the draw together with the estate agent.

If you purchase a plot via Örebro Municipality, you must build a house on the plot within two years and obtain final approval from the Building and Environment Committee (approval that you may move in).
