About this home
When every detail has been counted A uncompromisingly renovated home where sophisticated material choices, bespoke solutions and thoughtful design are combined with a balcony and one of Ribersborg's most sought-after locations. Description Welcome to a home where few details have been left to chance. An exceptionally well-renovated residence where aesthetics, function and quality have interacted throughout the renovation. In addition, you live in a well-maintained association with very low debt and an attractive monthly fee that includes both the electricity grid fee and fibre. During the summer of 2025, the residence underwent an extensive renovation with great care for both the whole and the small details. The ambition has been clear: to create a personal and sophisticated home that works just as well for everyday life as when the doors are opened for larger gatherings. The residence is painted throughout in carefully selected, matte shades from Jotun, and large parts of the home are framed by a new, wide wooden floor from Bjelin. The floor is hardened to better withstand scratches, water and everyday wear, thus combining an exclusive expression with practical properties. The same floor runs through the residence, with the exception of the hallway and bathroom, and is complemented by matching thresholds for a cohesive expression. In connection with the renovation, the residence's electrical system has also been renewed. The care for details continues in the new doors and frames. Soft-closing doors from Swedoor with improved sound insulation have been combined with period-style fittings from Byggfabriken. The skirting boards have also been replaced with taller models that elegantly connect to the property's character. Here you live on a high first floor with a private and peaceful location on Skvadronsgatan. This particular part of the street has no through traffic, creating a pleasantly quiet environment right outside the door. At the same time, Regementsgatan awaits just a stone's throw away with its appreciated range of restaurants, cafés, shops and services. Interior HALLWAYYou are greeted by a hallway where the owners have placed great focus on function. The space is square and has good, thoughtful lighting, while hanging space and storage have been accommodated without dominating the room. Shoes, jackets and a hat shelf fit discreetly in the passage next door, allowing the hallway itself to remain calm and pared back, with room for even the most devoted shoe enthusiast. On the floor lies a waterproof sisal mat, chosen as much for the feel as for the function. The material is durable and has a practical ability to catch and hide dirt, making the hallway easy to keep clean even when everyday life comes in through the door. KITCHENWhen you enter the completely newly renovated kitchen, it is hard not to be enchanted by the kitchen's dusty rose colour, which gives the room personality without taking over, while fronts from Finnish Helsingö and period-style fittings tie the expression together in an excellent way. This is a kitchen for those who actually enjoy being in the kitchen. The work surfaces are generous and the countertop together with the splashback withstands everyday life well. It is scratch-resistant, virtually maintenance-free, and a spilled glass of wine need not be a major event. Here you will find a convection oven (SMEG), combi oven (SMEG), charcoal filter extractor hood (SMEG), induction hob (IKEA), dishwasher (IKEA), as well as fridge/freezer (IKEA). The current owners have also prepared for a washing machine, which can be built into the kitchen for those who appreciate having laundry close at hand. BATHROOMThe owners have prioritised a generous shower space, good lighting and plenty of storage. On the floors and walls lies exclusive granite ceramic from Bricmate, a durable material well suited to the bathroom's daily use. Underfloor heating adds extra comfort, and the wall lighting from German SLV provides a pleasant light. The shower is equipped with a rain shower and mixers from Tapwell, as well as shower walls and storage from INR where you can easily hide your toiletries. The toilet has also been chosen with everyday life in mind, with a smooth exterior and a rimless flush design that makes it easier to keep clean and contributes to better hygiene. The result is a bathroom where material choices and details have been given space, but like the rest of the residence, where practical use has always been the starting point. LIVING ROOMThe living room is the residence's natural gathering point, with high ceilings, light walls and large window sections that provide generous light. Here the sun finds its way in during the morning and returns in the evening, while the room retains its light during the warmest hours of the day without the same direct sunlight. This contributes to a pleasant balance in summer, where the residence is bright without becoming unnecessarily warm. Between the living room and kitchen, the partition wall has been extended to create a clearer division between the two rooms. The kitchen gets its own space without being closed off, and whoever is cooking retains contact with the company at the dining table or on the sofa. Today there is a dining table with seating for eight people, but the space allows for larger gatherings when the occasion requires. There is plenty of room for both meals and socialising, making the living room the obvious place to gather. MASTER BEDROOMThe bedroom is in the same light and calm shade as the rest of the residence and gains character from the bespoke wardrobes in a warm burgundy tone. On the floor lies a wall-to-wall carpet in 100 percent wool that contributes to a softer and warmer feel. The current owners have created a space for a home office with associated storage. This makes the room useful also for those who need a secluded workplace at home. BEDROOMThe second bedroom is the larger of the two and is currently planned to be used as a children's room. The walls are painted in a pleasant green shade that gives the room a calm and cosy impression. The large bespoke wardrobe is painted in forest green and works tone-on-tone with the walls. WALK-IN CLOSETIn addition to the generous storage options in the bedrooms' bespoke wardrobes, there is also a proper walk-in closet currently used as storage. This provides practical space for things that are welcome to be close at hand without taking up space in the residence's other rooms.
