Description Welcome to Simundö 142 and this cosy holiday home of 62 well-planned square metres, built in 1965 and adapted for comfortable year-round use. From the living room you step out onto a covered terrace, which leads you on to a large, wonderful terrace in an open position. Here there is sun for most of the day and plenty of room for several furniture groups, large lounge furniture and sun loungers. The large, scenic plot invites play and activities for both young and old with its fine lawns, playhouse and sandpit. For those interested in gardening, there are beautiful flowers, plants and plenty of space for your own cultivations. The property also includes a practical storage building with an extended carport. Simundö offers a fantastic location close to nature and the water with fine walking paths. The home is easily accessible via road 76 – by car it takes just over an hour to Uppsala and about one hour and 45 minutes to Stockholm. The surrounding area is full of historic charm and excursion destinations. Only 6 km away lies the well-preserved manor estate of Forsmark with its manor house, café and inn, and after about a 25-minute drive you reach Ängskär seaside camping. Within 15 minutes by car you reach both Östhammar and Öregrund, which offer full services with grocery shops, a health centre, pharmacy and school. Here you are also met by a rich archipelago life with beaches, rocky bathing spots, restaurants, boating and events such as Båtveckan and Badortsdagarna. For the active, there is also Öregrund golf club, a ferry to Gräsö as well as fine hiking areas such as Krutudden and Upplandsleden.
