The common denominators of the apartments in Sanatorieparken are light and air. A ceiling height of 2.70, an open floor plan and windows facing your cardinal directions create a wonderful sense of space and make the apartments feel inviting. Another detail that contributes to the welcoming feel of the apartments is that you look straight out onto the generous balcony or patio as soon as you step over the threshold.
The large park is the area's natural meeting place. Perhaps you would like to grow your own flowers, vegetables and fresh herbs? Or why not enjoy an afternoon in the orangery with someone you care about?
On the outside, the buildings have a rendered facade with timber elements by the spacious balconies. The apartments are characterised by natural materials and have oak parquet in all rooms except the wet rooms. There, we install tile and ceramic throughout. The entrances also get ceramic floors inside the front door.
The bathroom has a high standard already in its basic configuration. From the ceramic-tiled floors, pleasant underfloor heating spreads, and the walls are tiled. Many small but important details - such as a towel dryer, folding shower walls, overhead cabinets and a worktop where you can fold your laundry - make everyday life easier. In the one-room apartments there is a combined washing machine and tumble dryer. In the larger apartments these machines are separate.
Sanatorieparken is a place created for community, harmony and quality of life. Despite being close to everything, you can leave the day's stress behind as you travel the short distance through the pine forest. Soon the forest opens up and you enter a light and lush park. Here, next to the beautiful sanatorium from the turn of the century, we are creating a unique home in modern apartments.
The sanatorium, designed by city architect Magnus Dahlander, is now being renovated with a gentle hand and will make room for new homes. Next to the National Romantic brick building, BJC Group is building four tower blocks with 52 modern, open and welcoming apartments. Choose between one-, two-, three- and four-room apartments with planned move-in in 2020.
The buildings in Sanatorieparken form an open arc with the green pine forest as their closest neighbour. There is plenty of room for walks, play and exercise. In the courtyard you meet your neighbours in the open park, in the area's communal spaces or over a cup of coffee in the orangery.
Sanatorieparken is developed by BJC Group, a company based in Örebro and Gothenburg. Ever since its start over 25 years ago, BJC Group has been characterised by a dedicated focus on quality and care for the small things that make a big difference for residents. Buildings and apartments from BJC are recognised by their memorable architecture, extra ceiling height, careful material choices and generous balconies. And if you move in one day, you will over time notice how solidly the whole building is constructed.
If you come from central Örebro and turn right just after passing Brunnsparken, the ICA store, Brunnsskolan and the Skutan preschool, you will arrive at Sanatorieparken.
from your front door. From the same bus stop you can also reach both the dentist and the health centre - unless you choose to walk, of course. It is a walk of just under five minutes.
Few homes in Örebro are as peaceful and nestled in greenery as Sanatorieparken - yet everything you need is close by. Adolfsberg's centre is a few hundred metres away, you have just under 5 km into central Örebro and an even shorter route to the Marieberg shopping centre. The bus, which takes you to both places, stops just a stone's throw away.
The pine forest surrounding Sanatorieparken is extensive and invites play, mushroom and berry picking. There is also a lit trail for walking or running when there is no snow. In winter you can strap on your skis right outside the door and set off.
When city architect Magnus Dahlander designed the Adolfsberg sanatorium at the beginning of the last century, National Romanticism was the prevailing architectural movement. However, the Art Nouveau style had begun to make its entrance, which can also be discovered if you study the stylish facade. Although our main focus has been to create practical and modern homes for today's people, one can sense that details from that era have left their mark on the new buildings. Together, today's design language and the lines from the turn of the last century give the entire area a character all of its own.
The size of the apartments ranges from 1 room 36 sqm to 4 rooms 88 sqm.
