Description Pleasantly situated high up and sheltered in an elevated position with views of the beautiful archipelago at Säby and Brevik kile. With about a ten-minute bike ride through the area down to swimming, both from the jetty as well as rocks and beach, and in a calm and scenic spot, the house lies surrounded and sheltered by the beautiful heather-covered rocky outcrops, with Pilane sculpture park very close by. Lovely outdoor areas in all directions around the beautiful plot and beside the houses. Here, excellent opportunities are created for enjoyable time with friends and family. At the entrance side there is a pleasant view over the garden, sheltered by the magnificent and unique Bohuslän landscape with heather-covered mountains, and further down over the valley with its living agricultural landscape. The house is a traditional holiday home, sports cabin, from 1964 and is today updated with modern features in place, such as a bathroom with shower and a kitchen, for a comfortable and easy-to-manage everyday life. A well-organised layout and good distribution of open and social spaces as well as two good bedrooms make the house a practical and easy-to-maintain home with room for many and much in the space-efficient layout. There is the opportunity to create additional sleeping places in the two guest cottages. The plot offers opportunities for recreation, play and cultivation of beautiful perennials and a kitchen garden if desired. From the mountains around the plot there is a sparklingly beautiful view of a good 180 °, and with a short walk you can let your gaze wander over unbroken horizon. In the area around Pilane and Hällene you have close access to kilometres — perhaps even tens of kilometres — of beautiful walking paths in the cultural landscape. The popular Pilane Sculpture Park, where new exhibitions and cultural events are arranged every year, is within very easy reach. Beautiful hiking trails take you easily onward over the boardwalks in Tådås to Säby with Säbyleden and Säby Ö with its 'stone cottage' as a popular excursion destination. Skärhamn with restaurants, entertainment and shopping is within easy reach and accessible by car or bike. The nearest grocery store, post box, pharmacy, pizzeria and petrol station can be found in Kållekärr within just under ten kilometres and at most a ten-minute drive. If you would like to try a different swimming spot than Hällene, perhaps one day you feel like a change, there are delightful swimming and beach breaks to be had along the entire coastline in the area. If you travel by land, fine swimming spots are within cycling distance of, among others, Hallsbäck's old steamship jetty with fine bathing ladders nearby, Kyrkesund with its child-friendly Linneviken or Björholmen with delightful Märrviken, to name just a few. If you travel by boat, the chances are good that you will find completely undisturbed swimming spots, perhaps on one of the small islands and skerries offered off Tjörn and Orust. By boat you can reach both picturesque Mollösund north on Orust and charming Skärhamn south on Tjörn within a shorter trip. Björholmens Marina with its pleasant hotel and restaurant facility is within a short walk or cycle ride. Why not end the day with a good ice cream or a glass of wine in a lovely jetty setting, perhaps enjoying live music and taking part in a music quiz. For those of you who want to live year-round and have children, there is a school and preschool within reach in Långekärr, a few minutes' drive from the property. It is no more than about a ten-minute drive to the commuter station with express connections to Gothenburg as well as larger schools in Kållekärr. Västtrafik operates bus services, and the Basteröd bus stop is not far from the side road leading to the house. In short, a delightful house in an equally delightful location on popular north-western Tjörn!
