Greater freedom of choice as axCurae acquires Gottskärs Hemtjänst

The need for home care services is increasing, as are the demands for more individually tailored solutions. As Axcurae Group AB (axCurae) acquires Gottskärs Hemtjänst, digital solutions and privately funded additional services are integrated. The goal is to increase quality of life for the elderly, create peace of mind for relatives and simplify the working day for health and care staff.

Svensk FöretagsFörmedling has been an advisor to the founder of Gottskärs Hemtjänst, Carina Ogrander. The contact has existed for a long time, which has given Carina the opportunity to feel secure in her decision to sell, and to whom. For her, it was important to find a buyer who both values what she has built up and wants to develop the business further.

Gottskärs Hemtjänst is a well-known player in Kungsbacka. The new owner, Axcurae Group AB, operates in several locations across the country and develops the digital platform itself, which is used both in its own operations and in operations run by other players. The acquisition includes the entire business with just over 50 employees as well as a vehicle fleet consisting almost entirely of electric vehicles. The change of ownership does not affect the services provided to the company's care recipients.

Gottskärs Hemtjänst is today the largest private provider of home care services in the Municipality of Kungsbacka. The previous owner, Carina Ogrander, has successfully built up the business since 2016 but feels that it is time to hand over to a new owner who can give the company the right conditions to grow and develop further.

Axcurae Group AB was founded in 2020 with the ambition to change and improve elderly care. By integrating modern digital solutions into daily care, the company wants to increase security, counteract involuntary loneliness and make care services more accessible. Behind Axcurae Group AB is a team with solid experience, some 30 investors as well as Almi and SEB. The company also operates Kronobergs Hemvård in Växjö and develops its digital platform in close consultation with its users; care staff and customers.
