Wevik Maskin manufactures and delivers screw conveyors to the Swedish and European market. The company has manufacturing and offices in Västervik and currently has a turnover of approx. SEK 14 million.

BKBM Invest acquires the majority of the shares and steps in as the new principal owner. The ownership group has previously run Bäckman Blästermaskiner in Filipstad and Svensk Blästring & Maskinteknik in Laholm, where part of the production also includes screw conveyors.

Statement from David Loid, part-owner of BKBM Invest:

"Wevik Maskin is a company with strong traditions and recognised expertise in its field. We look forward to continuing to develop tailored high-quality solutions for our customers together with the previous owners."

"SFF has, with great attentiveness and competence, guided us through a challenging process and created a very good climate for cooperation. Through this, we have been able to maintain a constructive dialogue between seller and buyer".

Statement from Hans Nilsson, part-owner of Wevik Maskin:

"We are pleased that we have found a strong owner who can preserve and further develop the business. It is also extra gratifying that the company remains in Västervik and develops locally. Together, we will become a strong player that continues to deliver high-quality screw conveyors.

The cooperation with Svensk Företagsförmedling has gone well and we have received help with the entire process from start to finish. We are grateful that we worked with Andreas Lindholm, who proved to be a skilled intermediary."
