Novedo acquires Nordsign AB

The Novedo group has acquired Nordsign AB. Nordsign AB is Novedo's eighteenth acquisition since its founding in 2021. Novedo's pro forma revenue is estimated at approximately SEK 2 billion. Svensk FöretagsFörmedling was the responsible project manager in the transaction process.

Nordsign is a product and installation company that delivers customised and complete commercial signage solutions to customers throughout the Nordics. After five years of strong growth, the company today has a turnover of approximately SEK 70 million with good profitability and faces an exciting future.

– It will be very exciting and inspiring to become part of the Novedo group and, together with them, continue to develop Nordsign and take the company to the next level. It also feels good that we can continue to run the company our way but with additional support and strategic backing from Novedo. It is also important for me to highlight the staff who do a fantastic job every day, says Nordsign's CEO Erik Asp.

– We are used to handling many bidders at the same time, but this time there were considerably more involved in the process than usual, which was of course extra exciting. Interest in this company was high, which meant it was considerably faster to find several serious interested parties, something that facilitated the path to the sale of Nordsign, says Jan Wiklund.

The acquisition is Novedo's eighteenth since its founding and the seventh in 2022, and is yet another step towards the stock exchange listing planned for the first half of 2023. After the acquisition, Novedo has a turnover of approximately SEK 2 billion.

– I am pleased that Nordsign wants to become part of our group. The current owner and CEO Erik Asp, who will also reinvest part of the purchase price in Novedo, bought out the company in 2017 and, together with the employees at Nordsign, has succeeded in doubling the turnover, with good profitability.
