Norconsult AB acquires Arkitekthuset Monarken AB

Arkitekthuset Monarken AB operates in architecture, interior design, urban planning, structural engineering, design and project management for new construction, renovation and extensions, mainly in Norrbotten and Västerbotten. At the time of sale, Arkitekthuset Monarken had approximately 45 employees in Luleå and Piteå. Arkitekthuset Monarken AB has a turnover of approximately SEK 50 million.

The responsible broker in the transaction was Svensk FöretagsFörmedling's Peter Kieri, Luleå. "Interest was high and several of the larger players in the market showed interest. Monarken's stable and good turnover and earnings, along with its strong brand in the northern Sweden market, made it easy to find a buyer," says Peter when asked to comment on the deal.

Per Sandkvist, one of the former owners of Arkitekthuset Monarken, comments on the deal and the sales process;
