About this home
A fairytale-like showpiece apartment anno 1904 - a true dream for those who love the grandeur of the turn of the century! The association offers a shared balcony, a large lush garden and parking spaces inside the gates. Description A home out of the ordinary with a magical feel created by well-preserved and period-typical details anno 1904. How about a ceiling height of 3.50 metres with continuous stucco work and ceiling rosettes, beautiful double doors, generous window sections with muntins, lovely light from three directions, beautiful herringbone parquet, floor skirting and a magnificent working tiled stove! Could it be more fairytale-like? Just as the original details are easy to love, the modern elements are easy to live with. You can park your car in the association's fenced parking area and then take the lift comfortably from ground level up to the residence. The floor plan is optimally arranged, providing fantastic functionality without compromising the home's grand feel. Here you live in one of the northernmost districts of the city centre with historic buildings from the early 1900s, where many different architects over the years have made Tågaborg the fairytale-like district it is today. Villa Hälsolid is imposingly situated above the slopes of Hälsovägen. What was special, in addition to the French neo-rococo architecture unusual for Helsingborg, was that the house was built with large windows and good light in all rooms, even though the fashion at the time was to have dark interiors and small windows. Villa Hälsolid was completely renovated in 2008-2010 and is today a housing cooperative. The house is considered one of the most beautiful buildings in Helsingborg and is an important part of the city's cultural heritage. Within walking distance of the city centre's rich offering of services, culture and entertainment, you are always close to everything. Further down the street you will find the verdant Vikingsberg Park, which leads on to the Landborg Promenade. In just a few minutes down the Landborg ridge you reach the sea with harbour taverns, restaurants and a beach promenade, and for those who love swimming there are several fine piers for a dip in the blue. In Tågaborg you will find a well-stocked grocery store, café, bakery, florists, hair salons, a pharmacy and a health centre etc. When you don't want to cycle or walk, you also have proximity to a bus station that takes you on to the central station and the innermost city centre of Helsingborg. A warm welcome to contact Gabriel Rolland with any questions or enquiries! Interior In the stairwell there is a lift that you can conveniently take from ground level up to the residence. There is also a shared balcony in the stairwell that members may use freely. Well inside the doors you are welcomed by a spacious hallway with hanging possibilities. Throughout the apartment lies beautiful herringbone parquet and the walls are smooth. Directly to the right from the hallway you reach the guest toilet equipped with WC and sink (2019). The kitchen was renovated in 2018 with a delicious dark interior from Ballingslöv with granite on both the worktop and the splashback. The appliances consist of oven, induction hob, fridge and freezer (Electrolux) in full height and an integrated dishwasher (Siemens). The kitchen offers good storage and fine work surfaces. There is also room for a dining table for four seated guests where you can gaze out over the rooftops of Tågaborg. Further into the residence through a pair of magnificent sliding doors with massive framing details you find the living room. The ceiling height is outstanding at 3.50 metres and, as the crowning touch, you find a working tiled stove, stucco work and ceiling rosettes. The royal impression is tangible and feels both enchanting and fairytale-like! Thanks to the fact that part of the wall leading into the next room, which is the dining room, has been opened up, the social rooms have light from two directions and are framed with details and high skirting boards. The windows have muntins and lend beautiful light to the rooms. Without any overlooking, you have an outstanding view over the Landborg ridge and the greenery of Villatomtparken. The bedroom is spacious and provides room for a large double bed with matching bedroom furniture. Here there is also a sliding-door wardrobe for storage. The bathroom was completely renovated in 2023. From the bedroom you reach the bathroom directly, which is fully tiled in white and brown. All pipes are neatly concealed, the ceiling has dimmable spotlights and on the floor you find comfortable underfloor heating. The bathroom is equipped with a wall-hung WC, vanity unit, shower with folding glass doors, towel dryer, washing machine and tumble dryer. It is rare to find details even in the bathroom, but of course in this residence there are four delightful elongated small windows!
