The house at Mariagatan 13 bears the signature of the well-known functionalist architect Olof Thunström and was built as a bachelor hotel for employees at Gustavsbergs Porslinsfabrik, with communal social areas as well as a crafts room in this part of the house.

After conversion into apartments, the ceramicist Lisa Larsson and her family, among others, lived in this very apartment before moving on to their newly built villa in Höjdhagen.
