About this home

Lovely location by Rigeleje Havsbad Well-maintained house on a large corner plot with fine social spaces, a wood-burning stove, a sunroom and a guesthouse. In the summer village you are surrounded by fantastic surroundings, and from the house it is only a short walk to Rigeleje's magical sandy beach. Description Welcome to a real gem. Here you can enjoy the tranquillity all year round and the proximity to Rigeleje's magical sandy beach. In summer it is not far to a dip in the sea, and the location in the summer village is really good. The house, built in 1999, is very well maintained and has a well-planned living area with fine social spaces. There are two bedrooms as well as a shower/wc with a washing machine from 2024. Living room and kitchen in an open plan layout where the wood-burning stove warms well on cold days. Additional space for family and friends can be found in the glazed sunroom and further out on a terrace under a roof. A delightful garden, easy to maintain and with plenty of space for seating areas as well as play and games. The guesthouse has a simple kitchen as well as its own seating area, perfect when extra beds are needed for visiting guests. You are surrounded by lovely nature with straight, stately pines through which the sunlight breaks. The walk down to the sandy beach takes only a few minutes. After a pleasant day with plenty of swimming, perhaps there will be a swing by the kiosk. Soon the murmur of the summer village will be heard and the smell of freshly grilled food will spread between the houses. Along the soft curve of Hanöbukten bay, the sandy beach begins at Revhaken, south of Åhus, and continues all the way down to Kivik. What makes the beach unique is not only the incredibly beautiful scenery but also the fact that it is actually Sweden's longest. Along the coastline south of Yngsjö, seaside resorts, fishing villages and summer villages line up like a sparse string of pearls. Along the beaches, the old fishing huts remind us of what was once the area's most important industry. The stretch is still called Ålakusten (the Eel Coast), even though it is now mostly known for its fine sea trout fishing. Some days the sea is as azure blue as on the Riviera. You can let your gaze follow the coastline all the way up to Blekinge and down to Stenshuvud. When darkness falls, the lights glitter along the coast. A popular lookout point can be found in the Friseboda nature reserve. This stretch of coastline has for many years been very popular with both permanent residents and holiday home owners – it is easy to understand why.
