When new plots are released, anyone may, within a specified period, submit a declaration of interest via the agent's website to buy the plot. If several parties are interested in buying the plots, the order in which interested parties are asked to buy the plot is decided by lottery. The municipality handles the lottery together with the estate agent.

If you buy a plot via Örebro Municipality, you must build a house on the plot within two years and obtain final approval from the Building and Environment Committee (approval that you may move in).
