Welcome to the farm "Öst om ån" – a unique property of cultural-historical value, located in Hovermo, approximately 14 km north of Svenstavik and 60 km southwest of Östersund. The property has the character of a small-scale industrial museum and is a well-preserved example of the type of small-scale industrial activity historically conducted in Jämtland. Here you will find, among other things, a hydropower station, a sawmill and a smithy. The current operations include a café as well as a museum. All buildings on the property are today supplied by their own hydropower plant with an output of approximately 10 kW. The property holds hunting rights and the land is today registered with Hovermo jaktlag within Mysjö oviken södra VVO. The property has a total area of 11.2 ha, of which 5 ha is productive forest land. The total timber stock amounts to approx. 800 m³sk.
