Charming 1920s house on a cul-de-sac!

In 1926, at a time when the spa towns were flourishing and summer guests travelled to Källvik by steamboat for a restorative spa stay, ”Lilla Lövhyddan” was built. The original building, whose original charm characterises the house, consists of two bedrooms, a glazed veranda, an upper hall and the ”old” kitchen. Both floors are equipped with an air source heat pump/AC, and all the electricity in the house was replaced in 2022. Over the years, the house has been complemented with modern conveniences such as a bathroom, kitchen and a large living room with lovely natural light and a warming wood-burning stove. In close proximity to the house is the old combined hen house/outdoor toilet, which has now been converted into two guest rooms with an accompanying outdoor shower. In connection with the pool construction in 2020, a pool house was added, equipped with a sauna, shower and laundry room, machine room. In addition, the garden features a storage building of 15 sqm with an extra fridge/freezer as well as a large, magnificent cherry tree.

The sunny and private corner plot is framed by greenery and is well sheltered from the wind. The terrace and pool area invite relaxing days, a morning coffee by the pool which basks in sunshine all day, a refreshing lunch on the terrace where you can also round off in the evening sun until late. A short walk along a 200-metre gravel path strewn with pine needles leads to Hotellbryggan, with an accompanying boat berth, offering good opportunities for sea bathing and archipelago trips. Around the corner there is also a large football pitch and a tennis court.

ENTRANCE FLOOR

The entire floor is decorated in light shades with white-painted ceiling panelling, mirrored doors from the building period and standing wall panelling.

HALL

Through a newly installed front door, you enter the hall with white-painted walls.

KITCHEN

White cabinetry, wooden worktops and white wall tiles. The appliances consist of a stove with oven, a stainless steel extractor hood, a combined fridge-freezer and a dishwasher.

LIVING ROOM/DINING ROOM

Pine plank flooring with underfloor heating (electric), wallpapered walls, a wood-burning stove and access to the terrace deck on the entrance side.

BEDROOM

Pine plank flooring, beautifully wallpapered walls, a working tiled stove, a bay window and access to the glazed veranda.

FORMER KITCHEN

Pine plank flooring, wallpapered walls, white-painted wall panelling and a wood stove (not used in recent years)

SHOWER ROOM

Wet room flooring, wet room wallpaper, a washbasin in a vanity unit, a wall cabinet, a shower with glass sliding doors and a small window for natural light.

UPPER FLOOR

Pine plank flooring, light-painted wall panelling, one wardrobe and installed air heating/AC.

BEDROOM

The same beautiful pine planks, wallpapered walls, one wardrobe and space for clothes storage in the crawl attic.
