About this home
A rural home with two residential houses and many possibilities Welcome to experience a unique property with two residential houses, several fireplaces and a lush garden with delightful outdoor spaces – a place for everyday life, togetherness and quality of life. Description Some places hold more than a home. Hössna Kinnared 120 is one of them. Here, two detached residential houses meet, together 177 square metres of living space, and a mature garden where life gladly moves outdoors during the warmer months of the year. The main building has its roots in the early 20th century and carries a warm, personal character. Wooden floors, visible beams, beadboard panelling and fireplaces create the right feeling, while the house has been developed for comfortable everyday living. The rooms flow together in a pleasant way, from the living room's tiled stove via the summer room and dining room to the kitchen with its natural gathering point around the kitchen island and the working wood-burning stove. The many exits make the garden a natural extension of the home. The large terrace along the house accommodates both a dining table, lounge furniture and pleasant moments in the sun. All around await greenery, older trees, cultivation areas, a greenhouse and several small spots to settle down. It is a garden to discover and use – for dinners, barefoot living, play and long days without hurry. The smaller residential house gives the property unusual flexibility. Here there is a private kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and social areas spread over two floors. An independent residence for guests or family, a place for work and creativity, or a space of one's own for someone who wants to live close by but still on their own. The location is rural and alive, with pastures, farms and village surroundings. Here you find tranquillity and nature close by, while Kinnared is characterised by an active village community. The village also has a foundation that arranges parties, trips and other community-building activities free of charge. A convenient commuting location only about 10 minutes from Ulricehamn, with quick access to national road 40, which provides a comfortable distance to both Borås and Jönköping. Hössna Kinnared 120 is a place with many possibilities – and plenty of room for life to change over time. Interior The main building is characterised by a warm and personal atmosphere where older details meet carefully executed updates. Wooden floors, beadboard panelling and visible beams recur throughout the house, while the tiled stove, wood-burning stove and fireplace contribute both character and warmth. The entrance level offers generous social areas with a living room, summer room and dining room. The living room's tiled stove creates a natural gathering point, and in the dining room glazed double doors open onto the large terrace. The summer room serves as a lovely link between the home and the garden during the warmer months. The kitchen was renovated in 2017 and has a cosy, rural feel with a kitchen island that provides plenty of space for both cooking and socialising. The working wood-burning stove and the copper extractor hood give the room a personal touch. On the entrance level there is also a peaceful bedroom with oak parquet and good storage in built-in wardrobes. The bathroom and the separate laundry room were renovated in 2019 and both have tiled floors with underfloor heating. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet and chest of drawers, while the laundry room has a combined washing machine and tumble dryer. The upper floor has an open and characterful design with sloping ceilings, visible beams and wooden floors. Here there is space for both a sleeping area and a private seating group, with a stove that enhances the cosy feel. The floor is complemented by walk-in wardrobes and an extra bathroom with shower and toilet. On the entrance level there is a kitchen with wooden floors, painted solid wood doors and space for a dining table. There is also a bedroom with both a wardrobe and a walk-in closet, as well as a bathroom with shower and toilet.
