On Adelsö you will find just about everything you could need. Next to the church there is the local heritage homestead, the preschool, the fire station and, in summer, a charming garden café. The island also has a very fine and well-maintained sports ground, a gym, a popular hiking trail as well as plenty of stables, swimming spots and small cosy harbours. There are beautiful walking areas and forests rich in mushrooms and berries.

Munsö school (grades f-3) and another preschool are located just across the ferry.

The car ferry between Munsö and Adelsö, the ferry is free of charge and the crossing takes about 5 minutes.

Bus 312 runs around Adelsö, from the other side of the ferry (Sjöängen) bus 311 is also accessible. Both lines go to Brommaplan, where the metro's green line and numerous other bus lines connect.
