At the very end of the cul-de-sac – with a location that is hard to beat

Ask the neighbours, and this is the best spot on the street. And it is easy to understand why.

At the end of the quiet cul-de-sac, with just one neighbour and the forest all around, lies this lovely Myresjö villa. Next to the house, the green space spreads out. There were previously plans for further development here, but ancient remains were discovered in the area. The result today is an unusually open location with the forest right next door, while schools, preschools, services and good transport links are all within convenient distance.

The white timber villa is the Myresjöhus model Skärgårdshus, built in 2007 and well cared for over the years. The house has a layout that suits family life well, with large shared spaces on the entrance floor and four bedrooms spread across the two floors.

The central section of the house is open and light, with the staircase centrally placed and daylight coming from several directions, not least through the roof windows. The kitchen with its large kitchen island sits together with the dining area in the middle of the social part of the house. There is room for many around the table, and from the dining area you step straight out onto the terrace.

The living room has plenty of space for a generous sofa group, and the stove does a lot for the atmosphere during the darker months of the year. The entrance floor also has a bedroom, and upstairs there are three more, together with a large family room that gives the family yet another place to be.

And then the back of the house.

This is perhaps where the location is most apparent. The large glazed conservatory means dinners can move outside early in spring and stay out well into autumn. Beyond, the terrace continues over several levels with a pool, plenty of space for both a dining table and lounge furniture, and a lawn for play and games. Then the greenery and forest take over. No houses close by, just an unusually open and green setting.

This is a house where it is easy to picture life ahead. Children running between the pool and the lawn, dinners continuing out into the conservatory, a fire lit when autumn arrives, and plenty of room when friends and family gather.

The house is lovely. So is the garden. But it is the combination with the location at the very end of the cul-de-sac that makes this something truly special.

And if the neighbours get to decide? Then it is simply the best on the street.
