Grand Capital AB acquires Perssons Entreprenad & Åkeri AB

Grand Capital AB acquires 100 % of the shares in Perssons Entreprenad & Åkeri AB, with Svensk FöretagsFörmedling's Peter Kieri, Partner and Transaction Advisor, responsible for the process.

Grand Capital AB, founded in 2023, aims at strategic acquisitions of companies engaged in critical societal infrastructure. With an investment strategy that prioritises independent and entrepreneur-led companies, Grand Capital sees the value in preserving the local presence and expertise of its subsidiaries while offering resources and support for further growth and efficiency. The acquisition of Perssons Entreprenad & Åkeri is in line with this vision and is expected to create synergies that benefit both parties.

Perssons Entreprenad & Åkeri AB, founded in 2009, performs contracting services primarily for the railway sector in northern Norrland. The company has grown from a one-man business into a company with around 20 employees and a turnover exceeding 40 million kronor. Dennis Persson, founder and CEO of the company, views the new ownership structure positively. He highlights that the merger with Grand Capital offers a unique opportunity for Perssons Entreprenad & Åkeri to develop further while retaining its independence and identity, but with access to greater resources and an expanded network. Through the acquisition, Grand Capital also takes a step forward in its ambition by strengthening its presence in the contracting industry in northern Sweden.
