Most appreciated on a weekend morning is Du Bon Pain - "gott bröd" (good bread), probably Råsunda's most popular bakery with a wide selection of cookies, buns, breakfast rolls and sandwich bread. If you fancy a coffee break or lunch, Café Mezzo offers really good coffee and salads that you can enjoy on the pleasant outdoor terrace in the best sunny spot. Along Råsundavägen there are several shops and other services such as dry cleaning, hairdresser, florist, pharmacy, butcher and nice shops.Up in Filmstaden, located at Näckrosen metro station, you can on film-historic ground watch the latest films at Råsunda's own cinema. The area was previously called "Sweden's Hollywood" and many films have been shot here directed by Ingmar Bergman. In the area there is a waffle café and restaurants to visit before or after a cinema visit. A short walk away is the Nordic region's largest shopping centre, Mall of Scandinavia, offering a wide range of fashion stores, all conceivable services, several restaurants and experiences at the IMAX cinema. Here you also find Ica Kvantum and Hemköp for larger grocery shopping, and you park conveniently in the garage under the mall. Solna Centrum is not far either, and here you find, in addition to shopping and lunch restaurants, a health centre, Systembolaget, bank etc. Solna Busstorg and the Solna Centrum metro station are also located here. GREEN AREAS / LEISURE / HOBBIESIn the local area there are two Puls & Träning facilities and the personal yoga studio Little Peace yoga. In Mall of Scandinavia, SATS has a large facility with both a gym and fitness classes. For those who like to train outdoors, Råstasjön is one block away. Råstasjön meets Lötsjön and together the two lakes form an exercise trail of approx 5 km along the water. Next to Råstasjön is Solna Rackethall. On the outskirts of Solna, north of E18, lies Ursvik's large outdoor recreation area with lit trails offering greater training challenges and skiing in winter. In summer, many take the bike or bus 515 to Hagaparken to take a dip in Brunnsviken, enjoy a picnic or visit the lovely restaurant Haga Forum for brunch. Next to the restaurant is Haga Tennis with outdoor courts right by the water. TRANSPORT LINKSThe transport links are excellent; the metro's blue line stops at Näckrosen, reached in about a 5-minute walk. The metro takes you to Solna C in a few minutes or T-centralen in about 10 minutes. Fridhemsplan - 6 min or Kista - 5 min. Bus 515 departs from Råsundavägen. The bus passes Solna station and then goes all the way into Odenplan. At Solna station you can catch the light rail or commuter train. The commuter train takes you to, among other places, Odenplan in one stop, or onwards towards Arlanda. The light rail runs to Globen or Bromma Blocks. Other bus lines along Råsundavägen are 509, 505, 70 and 176/177. By car you easily reach E18, E4 and E20. It is only 10 minutes by car to Bromma airport/ Bromma Blocks. Arlanda is also close in time; the airport coaches depart from Haga Norra, and if you take the commuter train it takes 40 minutes to Arlanda. To Karolinska and Vasastan you cycle in 15 minutes.
