Bo i Agunnaryd AB acquired the property with its buildings in 2015 and began an extensive renovation that continued until 2016.

Bo i Agunnaryd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Agunnarydsstiftelsen, which made possible the acquisition and renovation of the property in accordance with the provisions of the foundation's founder Ingvar Kamprad.

The apartments were completely renovated; only the frame and the slab on the ground were retained — everything else is new, such as electricity, water & sewage, heating, drainage, stormwater, garden, asphalt paving, fibre, etc. In connection with the renovation, two new storage rooms were also built where tenants can store bicycles, etc. A new heating system with ground-source heat was installed during the renovation.
