Björkkulla sits high and beautiful on a hill, surrounded by open meadows and tranquil nature.

The house was built in 1903 and has over the years been a place where generations grew up. During the summers, the house was filled with life from so-called summer children – city children who got to experience the freedom and fresh air of the countryside.

After several changes of ownership, the property was taken over in 2001 by the current owners, who immediately fell in love with the place's unique character. An extensive and careful renovation was begun, with great care taken to preserve the house's original charm. Investments have also been made in a new roof, new electrics and solar panels, and next to the house there is a garage with both a shower and a sauna.

Today, you are greeted by beautiful wooden floors running throughout the house, reinforcing the genuine feel. In the kitchen there is an older wood stove that is still used frequently – both for heating and sometimes for cooking, giving the home an extra dimension of rural idyll.

Björkkulla is today a well-maintained home and offers good opportunities for both permanent and holiday living.

The scenic surroundings offer open fields, woodland and proximity to a lake – perfect for those seeking peace, inspiration and a simpler life close to nature. Only about 5 km away lies Långasjöbadet, with generous lawns and a sandy beach for lovely summer days.
