Bäne Beslag AB sold to bring in new energy

It is a deal that is as much about renewal as about respecting the business – the owners of Bäne Beslag have sold the company to Roger Andreasson and his own, private companies. Per Nilsson at Svensk FöretagsFörmedling represented Bäne Beslag.

Bäne Beslag Aktiebolag was started in 1994 by the current owners and mainly offers handles and accompanying fittings. From the start, the focus on quality has been the guiding star. The company has both a strong market position and a good reputation among, for example, architects precisely because of the quality, the in-house design and a customer-adapted way of working where flexible, customer-adapted solutions are the core. The buyer Roger Andreasson, in turn, has broad experience of the industry, as former CEO of Herrljunga Ledstångsfabrik.

Now the owners of Bäne Beslag felt it was time to take the next step, with new energy.

– Letting go of a company you have worked hard to build is not something you do lightly, says Per Nilsson, partner and transaction advisor at Svensk FöretagsFörmedling.

– The sellers have been very keen that the business should be run in a good way going forward and that their customers should continue to receive the same good service as before. That makes it feel extra nice that Roger Andreasson, who is very knowledgeable, is taking over the business, he continues.

Bäne Beslag is a stable, manufacturing company with an annual turnover of approximately 12 MSEK and an operating result of approximately 2 MSEK. Roger Andreasson feels energised after the purchase.

– There is a fine business here with good growth opportunities. Bäne Beslag has built up its company over many years, so it feels great to be able to develop the business now, he says.

Roy Sultan, now a former owner of Bäne Beslag, is also pleased with the entire process.
