Nicely renovated cottage, situated high up with proximity to the party grounds and with the forest glade right next door. It is easy to feel at home here. Here you do not have to choose between sea, forest or proximity to town: you can simply enjoy it all. Enjoy the forest and its berries, mushrooms and birdsong. The cottage is laid out as a lovely living room with an open plan towards the kitchen. There is room for a sofa, dining table and storage furniture, a kitchen with good work surfaces and equipped with fridge/freezer, stove with oven, microwave and sink. Bedroom with space for a smaller double bed and clothes storage. To the left of the entrance there is a spacious and fresh bathroom with shower, toilet, sink with mirror cabinet and a window. Bathe, grow, socialise with a neighbour or lie in the hammock with a good book. Here it is the simple life that appeals. Walk to Marholmen or Askimsviken for a dip, or take the short bike ride to Hovåsbadet or any of Gothenburg's lovely swimming bays. Let your green fingers loose and grow and plant in the sheltered garden and in growing boxes/beds. Play boules, minigolf or perhaps take a trip with the boat that you have at GFA boat club's own spots by Marholmen (separate queue). At the party grounds there is often something fun going on. Everything from bingo, children's theatre, barbecue evenings, stand up or troubadour. Always in the company of good neighbours. On Sunday evenings in high summer you can bring your brass chair and take part in the live broadcast of Bingolotto at the campsite. Despite the calm atmosphere, it is not far to Gothenburg city centre: only 12 minutes by bus to Linné.
