Prestigious accountancy firm gets new owner

Revisor Peter Jonzon Aktiebolag was founded in 1954 and is one of the oldest and most highly reputed accountancy firms in Malmö. The firm's clients are mainly small and medium-sized closely held companies in the Malmö region. Over the past ten-year period, the firm's operations have remained stable at a turnover of between 8-10 million kronor and it currently has around ten employees. The company was facing a generational change, which is why it became relevant to find a new owner. A similar corporate culture was central to ensuring that staff and clients would feel secure during an ownership change. Refa Revision was one of the companies that met these wishes, and after some initial contacts they emerged as a highly relevant option. Refa Revision is a firm that is almost three times the size of Peter Jonzon AB and is based in Osby.

-I was contacted by Svensk Företagsförmedling and quite quickly entered into a dialogue about what an acquisition could look like. We are in the same industry, so from that perspective one can quite quickly determine whether it is a fit or not.
