As a memory of a bygone era, the villa Elftorp still stands on the spot where it was built in the mid-19th century. At that time it was one of several buildings belonging to a dye works, which later, at the beginning of the 20th century, became "Elftorps Bryggeri & Vattenfabrik". This continued all the way until 1933, when "Elftorps Snickerifabrik" and later "Elftorps Möbler AB" took over. Today the site has been subdivided into several separate properties, and on one of these stands the stately, representative villa Elftorp, which is hereby to be sold to now make room for a new family that will get to leave its mark on the place; just as others have done before us. The villa has undergone certain renovations in recent years, including: interior pipe replacement, installation of ground-source heating, a new bathroom, and parts of the balcony railing have now been replaced.
