Welcome to this beautifully situated property offering lovely sea views with no overlooking. The property's elevated position not only provides an impressive view over the water, but also invites a wonderful influx of light that creeps into every corner of the plot. Älgö is an enchanting peninsula next to Saltsjöbaden in Stockholm's inner archipelago. Älgö is surrounded by Baggensfjärden, Ingaröfjärden and Erstaviken. Here you live close to fantastic nature and the archipelago, and it is easy to reach by car.

The seller's words: "In my opinion, this must be Sweden's most environmentally friendly house, or at least at the top of Sweden's most environmentally friendly houses! This thanks to the house's low consumption of just under 3000kwh/h per year and a Hugo Larsson stove that heats the house during the winter with wood from the plot, where just over 1 cubic metre of wood is used per year. Water and sewage are currently handled with a private solution. There is a permit not to have to connect, even though the fee for it has been paid. The reason I have not needed it is the multum, three-chamber well and sand filter that take care of all BDT water. It becomes so clean that I have drunk the wastewater together with a member of parliament. All excrement ends up in the multrum and is taken care of thanks to the addition of organic compost, i.e. potato peels etc. The multrum has been emptied about once a year under the current owner. If you do not want to use the current solutions, you can therefore connect. The house's ventilation is built on two fans. One sits in the basement and draws air down from the sleeping loft, and another draws air from the multrum and out. They have run around the clock for 35 years and are still running. The ventilation creates a perfect thermal balance in the house and does not need to be adjusted according to season. Drinking water is currently obtained from a private well where water is found at a depth of 14m, but the hole is about 80m deep."
