About this home
Boathouse in Kåseberga harbour - among tourists, fish shops and restaurant life The old Boathouse of the Sea Rescue Society - newly renovated, 24 sqm wooden deck facing the water. Perhaps a gallery, party venue - or exhibition space? Currently home to Retro and Design Description Kåseberga and Ales Stenar are a destination that feels like the obvious choice when you are on Österlen. Kåseberga has most likely been a fishing village ever since the Middle Ages. Even today, this small town in Ystad Municipality is associated with fish and fish merchants. From the harbour, stairs and paths lead up to the ship setting consisting of 59 stones - the well-known Ales Stenar. Kåseberga village is both cosy and picturesque. Galleries and cafés are mixed with both permanent and holiday homes. The main street is called Ales väg and winds its way from Kustvägen down towards the harbour. As one of the last houses in the magnificent harbour is Ales väg 33 - welcome here. This is the old boathouse where the Sea Rescue Society ran information, exhibition and museum activities before it in recent years housed a design shop with furniture and more from past and present. The shop is located right by the pier in the harbour. The purchase includes the building, located on the property Kåseberga 14:111, owned by Ystad Municipality. A lease agreement with the municipality has been drawn up with the current owner. The municipality will reconsider the lease if another business is to be operated. Residential use is not permitted. Talk to the agent for more information.
